WELCOME TO MY BLOG

Art and self-expression—through both visual and performing arts—have brought me joy for as long as I can remember. Growing up in Barranquilla, Colombia, meant being surrounded by color, rhythm, and creativity.

My father, an architect and painter, and my mother, a textile and fashion designer, filled our home with inspiration. With that kind of environment, my love for the arts was almost inevitable. I carried those vibrant memories with me to the U.S., where I continue my creative journey. (More in BIO)

Then came a Friday in August 2017—I woke up unable to hear from my right ear. Since then, tinnitus, sound sensitivity, and dizziness have been part of my daily life. Experiencing sudden hearing loss was devastating and disorienting, yet also humbling and transformative. It marked a turning point—a rebirth that reshaped me as an artist and as a person.
